From foundry to stamping punch.

We have complete command of all the stages in the manufacture of our oscillating weights for the watchmaking industry. This competence starts with the creation of the alloy in the foundry and continues through to the rolling, annealing, drawing and washer cutting stages. These washers are stamped by tools that are part of our watchmaking heritage.

 

From professional environment to flawless product.

Our equipment is technologically at the leading edge and forms a rational part of its environment. It allows us to machine the most complex of oscillating weights in line with our customers’ requirements.

 

New technology that has proven itself.

We are able to create an engraved effect in the very smallest detail of the finish. This modern technology is based on an electroforming process.

 

Refining

Our refining tradition goes back 100 years, it consists in preparing precious metal waste from the jewellery, the watch, the electronics, the medicine industries and from our own production to form pure precious metals that can be reused.

Material testing

Half-products are tested for hardness and tensile strength. Metallographic sections show grain size and structure. We carry out material testing in order to ensure that materials are of top quality and ideal for processing.

 

Micromechanical production

Micromechanical production involves further processing half-products on state-of-the-art machines to form precise components for medical technology. In addition to the precious metals, we also mechanically process pure titanium and titanium alloys. Our strengths include turning and milling components. Having spent decades gaining processing knowledge of precious metal and titanium, as well as in selecting appropriate tool parameters, we have become a specialist in this industry.

 

Engineering

Our engineering not only includes customer-specific feasibility analyses but also global support during product implementation – from the idea to the finished and packed product. Thanks to our competent team, and many years of experience, you can rest assured that the production process will be smooth and therefore suitable for series production.

 

Quality control

Using ultra-modern 3D coordinate measurement machines, we record the mass of the components and monitor the production process by means of SPC. Thanks to the statistical process control and the information gained from it on process control, the products created have a constant high quality and meet customer requirements. All products are subject to a final visual check.

 

Process control

Thanks to the high degree of vertical integration of the production processes, we are able to control each step of process optimally and therefore secure consistent high product quality.
