06.07.2023 - Cendres+Métaux Group acquires R. Schlierholz AG.

R. Schlierholz AG is an important and widely recognized actor in surface finishing. Thanks to their in-house developed technologies, R. Schlierholz AG serves its long-standing clientele with high-quality, tailor-made surface treatment solutions - in both the industrial and decorative fields. The company has been in existence since 1949. The takeover enables R. Schlierholz AG to benefit from the Cendres+Métaux Group's industrial expertise in the precious metals sector and expand its competencies in surface treatment.

The company will continue to be run by its Managing Director, Iwan Wissenburg. R. Schlierholz AG's will still serve its customers as usual, and the long-term development stays assured. For its part, Cendres+Métaux will benefit from the expanded professional skills of R. Schlierholz AG. R. Schlierholz AG will retain all its jobs, and strategically important sites will be maintained and strengthened.

For Cendres+Métaux, this takeover means diversification into new industry segments and, thus, new opportunities for our customers. In this sense, we welcome R. Schlierholz AG to our Group and look forward to a fruitful collaboration.

Both parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
