Build the systems behind Swiss precision.

As a production mechanic apprentice at CMSA, you’ll learn how to turn raw materials into precision parts. From traditional machining foundations to mastering CNC technology, you’ll be trained to set up, operate, and maintain the machines that keep our production running. You’ll work hands-on with real projects, gain independence step by step, and become a key problemsolver for all things mechanical.

What you’ll learn

1st year

Foundation year

  • Milling, turning, drilling, and grinding on conventional machines
  • Reading technical drawings and using measuring devices
2nd year

Production practice

  • Carrying out production work on real components
  • Introduction to NX/ISO CNC programming
3rd year

Servers & subprojects

  • Producing and adapting clamping devices for manufacturing
  • Setting up CNC machines independently
  • Inspecting and correcting finished parts directly on the machine
4th year

Independence

  • Producing and adapting clamping devices for manufacturing
  • Setting up CNC machines independently
  • Inspecting and correcting finished parts directly on the machine

You’ll also support the team with repairs, adjustments, and troubleshooting across all conventional machines.
