Forming
The freshly cast alloys then undergo forming. Two processes are used to ensure the material achieves a high level of homogeneity during forming. Cold forming – by rolling or drawing – is used to produce wires, profiles, and strips. Heat treatment is also used for alloys, with each alloy having its own specifications.
