14.12.2022 - Cendres+Métaux is now a member of the STI Directory!

We are pleased to announce that Cendres+Métaux is one of the first companies with industrial production facilities to be included in the Swiss Triple Impact directory. This national directory lists companies that implement concrete measures for a sustainable future.

Our commitments

At the beginning of the year, Cendres+Métaux signed up to the Swiss Triple Impact (STI) programme with the aim of improving its social and environmental impact. Participation in the STI programme allowed us to define the main SDGs for our company and to create a concrete action plan that will be applied to the whole Cendres+Métaux Group. The goals derived from the SDGs were subjected to a suitability assessment process before being published in the STI directory. This involved a team of experts reviewing the impact and relevance of each sustainability commitment, as well as the detailed action plan. Following the successful validation, we are now listed in the STI Directory.

As a member of the STI Directory, we are committed to taking concrete steps towards a desirable and sustainable future:

Goal 1: By 2027, we reduce our production materials by 10% in proportion to the total production volume, compared to 2021. [SDG 12, 13, 8]

Goal 2: By 2025, we increase our employee satisfaction at work to 80% and are Great Place To Work®-certified. [SDG 3, 5, 8]

Goal 3: By 2030, we are carbon neutral (Scopes 1 & 2) and commit to the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). [SDG 13, 7]

Goal 4: By 2027, our main suppliers (by spend) comply with our Code of Conduct. [SDG 8, 12]

"Achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals is a task for society as a whole. We are convinced that our ambitious and concrete targets will make an important contribution to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development".
