As an IT apprentice at CMSA, you’ll be immersed in the technologies that power a modern industrial group. You’ll assist with everything from user support to hardware projects, network infrastructure, and server environments. This apprenticeship gives you the foundation to become a skilled business IT specialist with real-world project experience.

What you’ll learn

1st year

Foundation year

  • Train at Berufsbildungszentrum Bern (BBC)
  • Learn IT fundamentals: support, networking, hardware & software
2nd year

Support & infrastructure

  • Assist users with daily support
  • Help install and maintain software and hardware
  • Join internal network and system projects
3rd year

Servers & subprojects

  • Set up and manage test servers
  • Take responsibility for defined subprojects
  • Deepen your skills in hardware and software environments
4th year

Simulation & specialization

  • Expand the server environment
  • Carry out independent projects
  • Prepare simulations for your final practical exam

What we’re looking for

You are:

  • Interested in IT, logic, and systems thinking
  • A team player with focus and attention to detail
  • Motivated to work on real projects and explore different IT domains

Education required:

  • At least a Sekundarschule-level certificate
  • Strong German and English (French is a plus)
