Shaping CMSA identity to reflect how we work

January 5, 2026
· Corporate milestones

The CMSA identity was designed to reflect how we work, not to redefine it. It gives visible form to an industrial organisation that has evolved over time, through closer collaboration across sites, aligned standards, and shared ways of working.

Rather than marking a break, the new identity brings clarity to an existing reality and provides a common framework to express it consistently.

Building on the foundations established over decades under the name Cendres+Métaux, this approach applies equally to the logo, the visual language, and the way we present our expertise: continuity in substance, clarity in expression.

The CMSA logo: precision, cooperation, and structure

The CMSA logo was designed as a functional marker rather than a decorative symbol. Its shapes, proportions, and segmentation reflect the way we operate as an industrial organisation.

Our logotype

The logotype combines rounded and angular forms, expressing both precision and adaptability. This balance mirrors our ability to master demanding industrial constraints while responding flexibly to complex projects

Our sigle

The sigle is built from distinct, interlocking elements. Each segment remains clearly defined, yet contributes to a coherent whole.
This modular construction echoes how we work across the group: specialized entities collaborating across successive stages of the value chain, connected by shared standards and processes.

Our logo

Together, the logotype and symbol express structure, cooperation, and continuity, core principles that guide how we deliver complex manufacturing solutions.

One identity, unchanged standards

The introduction of the CMSA identity does not change the fundamentals of how we work with our partners.

Clients continue to rely on the same teams, the same sites, and the same level of service and quality. Existing relationships, technical expertise, and operational commitments remain fully intact.

What evolves is clarity. A unified identity makes it easier to understand how we are organised and how our capabilities fit together, without altering day-to-day collaboration. A clearer framework to present our expertise

Beyond visual coherence, the CMSA identity provides a clearer framework to present our expertise and offering.

It helps articulate how different competences, sites, and specializations connect across the value chain, from material expertise to finished components and assemblies.

This shared structure supports a more transparent reading of what we do and reinforces our positioning as an integrated industrial partner.
This framework underpins the way we present our activities, services, and know-how across our communication channels.

The introduction of the CMSA identity is not an endpoint. It sets the foundation for progressively improving how we communicate our expertise and solutions.

In the coming months, we will continue to enrich our content across channels, with more in-depth presentations of services, competences, and selected case studies. Shared tools and systems will be implemented to support consistency, quality, and efficiency.

This evolution follows a gradual and controlled approach, aligned with our industrial culture.
